Deporvillage presents the new edition of the deporvillage Transpyr Coast to Coast, a race that will take place between the 9th and 15th of June, where the participants have 7 days to cross the Pyrenees from coast to coast. It will be a week of pure cycling through amazing landscapes that requires from its 260 registered participants determination and a great physical and mental preparation.
This 14th edition of the race has a change of route, which this year turns around and will start on the Catalan coast, specifically in Roses, and will finish in the coastal town of Saint Jean de Luz, in France. Therefore, the route will go from the Mediterranean Sea to the Cantabrian Sea, being just the other way round in previous years.
The Spanish cycling equipment firm Finisseur is once again collaborating by providing the jerseys that will be worn by the cyclists and the race staff. These jersey models are an exclusive design for this race and respond to the needs of the event, as they have the best technical and quality features, with ultralight garments that stand out for their excellent performance on the bike.
Once again this year, the design of these jerseys is inspired by the Pyrenean relief, transmitting the tenacity of the participants and the risk of the race through textures, layers, different shades and waves, reminiscent of the rugged geographical map that the participants will cross, like the waves of the sea, the start and finish of the race.
As in previous editions, the participants’ jerseys will be presented in 3 colours: the participants of the Transpyr Grand Raid MTB and E-Transpyr Coast to Coast categories will wear green. Those in the road category, the Transpyr Backroads, will wear red jerseys and the leaders of each category in the mountain category will wear yellow jerseys, as was the case in the deporvillage Transpyr Coast to Coast in 2023.
The staff, who will ensure that this edition will be marked by respect, teamwork and the spirit of self-improvement, will be identified by the blue jersey.
