Finisseur Pro Bioceramic Thermal Base Layer Top

With this Pro Bioceramic Thermal base layer top, Finisseur offers a more than interesting garment, as it already does with other similar base layer tops such as the Pro Carbon Thermal, in which, through very technical and exclusive fabrics, it gives a really exceptional performance against the cold that we have been able to experience in this test.

Fabric with minerals inside

The main feature of this base layer is the use of Resistex Bioceramic yarn. A fabric that contains minerals in its interior which allow it to absorb and reflect our own body heat. The temperature acquired by this fabric emits light levels with a spectrum of electromagnetic waves similar to those of sunlight. These light levels, according to the manufacturer, penetrate the skin and reach the muscle tissue, promoting blood circulation, muscle performance and reducing the level of waste metabolites.

This, which seems like science fiction, has been proven by several studies and shows the high level of technology that can be incorporated today in a seemingly simple base layer top for the winter.

Light and very comfortable to wear

Apart from the properties of the high-performance fabric, this base layer top is really comfortable. The high thermal properties of mineral-containing yarns make it possible to avoid thick fabrics as in the past in winter garments. This is something very important in a base layer like this one, where excessive thickness can be uncomfortable by reducing our ability to move on the bike, thus having a greater sense of overwhelm.
This Pro Bioceramic Thermal can therefore be combined with any other garment as an outer layer, regardless of its thickness. This is really practical when it comes to getting dressed, even for the coldest days of the year and not having the feeling of being covered by endless cumbersome layers of fabric.

More heat retained than it seems

This top is one of those that trap heat and are warmer than they appear to be, despite their thickness. It is therefore a thermal garment of the latest generation, one of those that optimise its fabrics to the maximum and in this case, its advanced technology of yarns with minerals that promote that warmth.

We have used the Pro Bioceramic Thermal for mountain biking, trekking and even road biking sessions of up to 3-4ºC and where the thermal sensation, due to the speed, was even below 0ºC. With a good outer layer complementing the jersey we feel very comfortable and dry at all times.

Final verdict

Finisseur offers with this Pro Bioceramic Thermal a very advanced T-shirt. It provides excellent thermal protection and, just as important, it favours or at least does not affect physical performance. This last circumstance we have experienced in the past with other thermal tops, very warm, but to a certain extent oppressive due to the poor breathability of the fabrics or their thickness. However, this garment offers the best balance between warmth, breathability, elasticity and lightness. Key aspects to feel comfortable and warm and thus, to be able to get the most out of our physique. The body functions at 100% if it maintains a moderate temperature, if it is not exposed to too much humidity and if we are comfortable and without excessive tension that oppresses us. This top meets all these requirements.
