Made from 100% polyester, the Reld Trail Volta does not particularly stand out, at least in the version we have tested, in black. The light brown version has a quite different style, but in black, with its narrow cut and dark tone, one has to pay attention to discover the details it incorporates. For example, a seam at the knees allows for excellent freedom of movement, as well as hiding the spare button. The trousers feature open side pockets with good capacity. And in the legs, two pockets with flaps that hide a velcro closure complement its storage capacity. At the back, another pocket is added, without a closure, but covered by a discreet flap.
For a better fit, this trousers include various loops to be able to use a belt. On its part, the front closure is completed by a classic button of generous dimensions and a zip covered by a flap. The bass is simple, and without elastic, but due to the narrow cut it has a very natural and fitted fall over the ankles.

We have tested the Reld Trail Volta trousers on easy routes, especially on mountain walks in mild weather and in informal situations: walks with family, without rush or difficult terrain. During the walks, we appreciate the freedom of movement that the seams in the knees provide; fastening a loose lace is not difficult! The pockets are practical and well distributed: the side ones turned out perfect for storing the mobile phone, while the ones on the legs with Velcro closures kept small items like keys or the glasses case safe. Having five pockets in lightweight trousers helps to distribute what you carry and thus not overload them.
The belt adjustment and the slim cut promote a modern and functional look, adapting well to both physical activity and casual use. Its lightweight and discreet design is ideal for those seeking comfort without sacrificing a touch of sporty style. Although they are not designed to protect against intense cold, their lightness makes them ideal for walks in spring or summer.
