Last Friday September 24, a group of Deporvillage professionals and the Burgos BH competition team enjoyed an exciting experience thanks to the Finisseur brand, who wanted to celebrate the first year of sponsorship with the Burgos team doing what they do best: RIDING!
The members of the company were able to experience training with a top team first hand, and it was an unforgettable day for everyone!
The Burgos squad was represented by the cyclists Ángel Madrazo, Alex Molenaar, Dani Navarro, Jesús Ezquerra and Óscar Cabedo; and they counted on the support of the official team car, in which other members of the technical team were riding. In addition, we had the luxury of having the team bus on the company premises, which made the event even more special.
In the Deporvillage squad we lived the start as if it were a stage of a great tour, and it was a challenge to complete the emblematic climb to the monastery of Montserrat from Manresa, the city where the company’s headquarters are located.
Our team, formed by cycling enthusiasts, enjoyed a different Friday pedallingnext to some of their idols. It’s not every day that you have the opportunity to ride with professional cyclists and exchange experiences with them!
For the professional cyclists it was also a great experience to be able to ride the kilometres of this well-known climb beyond a race day.
The outing was also attended by the founders of Instagram account @tibidabocyclingclub and the youtuber El Sello Ciclista | The Cycling Seal (@elsellociclista on Instagram), who were in charge of sharing the event on their social networks.
It was an unforgettable experience for all participants, as explained by Anabel Martín-Nieto, head of HR at Deporvillage, who assures that “we are very happy to be able to organise this type of special event with our team; being able to offer this type of experience with professionals is something that helps us to make a difference in attracting and retaining talent within the company”.
