The Spanish brand specialising in cycling maintains its commitment to sustainability and innovation, incorporating new technologies in textiles
On sale exclusively on the sports e-commerce site Deporvillage, the Spanish cycling goods brand Finisseur continues its commitment to the design and manufacture of garments that meet the needs of different types of cyclists, as well as the types of cycling they do. In the new collection, in addition to insisting on recycled materials, it incorporates new waterproof fabrics and a specific collection for women.
As a result of the work carried out for months by its expert designers, together with the learning accumulated in previous collections, Finisseur has prepared a collection for winter 2021 that covers the requirements of the coldest season. It has incorporated new textile technologies such as the three-layer waterproof membrane that can withstand up to 8,000 mm of water column resistance applied to the pro Rainproof jacket, or the DWR (durable water repellent) that the Pro Race Thermal DWR bib shorts include, which consists of a treatment to the fabric to increase its water resistance.
As in previous collections, the company works with two product lines, the PRO line, made up of products that make the most advanced technologies available to cyclists, and the Core line, which offers high quality products at competitive prices.
The PRO line uses the most innovative materials on the market to offer maximum comfort and freedom of movement to cyclists during training and long-distance rides. Highlights include the pro Race 2 bib shorts made of thermal fabrics that stand out for their muscle support, and which incorporates a chamois with high density inserts perfect for long distance outings; and the long jerseys Pro Thermal y Pro Merino Mid-Season long jerseys, designed for autumn training sessions where the temperature varies greatly throughout the day; the Pro Thermal jacket for outings on the coldest days of the season; and the pro Rainproof jacket, fully waterproof, ensuring maximum protection even on the rainiest of days. Also noteworthy in this range is the introduction of the following Pro Carbon base layers, whose main property is that it reduces the body’s heat production, thus reducing the need for oxygen; and Pro Bioceramic which will absorb and reflect body heat, helping to relax muscles and improve circulation.
The CORE line, on the other hand, works with high quality materials and is designed for cyclists who want to enjoy their rides without worrying about comfort, but without sacrificing style. For this purpose, it has fresh and daring designs, in garments that offer excellent breathability, durability, comfort, and ease of use. In this range we can highlight the winter jerseys jackets, the Hybrid, Peloton, Core 2 and Core Thermal jackets and the core Thermal bib shorts with their new designs and colours. Another great novelty of CORE’s latest collection is the introduction of a new line for women, which shows the brand’s intention to conquer the female public as well.
Introduction of recycled products
Within the PRO and CORE ranges, they have launched bib shorts and a jacket made from recycled materials, continuing with the desire to offer sustainable products to cyclists for the practice of their favourite sport while taking care of the environment.
As it was already done with the summer collection, thanks to the collaboration of Deporvillage.com, a tree will be planted for each unit sold of these garments in the collection.
As in previous collections, the autumn-winter 2021 collection is accompanied by a wide range of accessories such as socks, gloves, leggings, sleeves, tubulars and hats.
