Deporvillage will welcome the runners of the Zurich Barcelona Marathon

The e-commerce, Main Technical Partner of the event, has designed an experience full of surprises for the visitors of the Expo Sports.

A few days before the celebration of the Zurich Marató de Barcelona, deporvillage has everything ready to welcome runners and their companions at its stand at Expo Sports, the running fair to be held on 17 and 18 March at the Montjuïc exhibition centre of the Fira de Barcelona. The leading sports e-commerce and running specialist is the main technical sponsor of the race from the 2022 edition.

The Expo Sports is the place where runners go to pick up their race bibs and where they have the opportunity to start soaking up the marathon atmosphere during two days that will be full of experiences and surprises. Deporvillage, which this year repeats as sponsor of La Marató de Barcelona, will once again have a prominent presence at the fair, with a spectacular space of over 300 m2 in which attendees can enjoy, in collaboration with the best brands of e-commerce, an exhibition of the best running shoes on the market of running on asphalt. In addition, all those who visit the stand will be eligible for a gift from the sports nutrition brand 226ers, as well as other gifts so that they can continue to equip their training with the best products.

All runners and accompanying persons who visit the stand will be able to participate in family dynamics based on challenges and the spirit of self-improvement. The deporvillage experience will be completed with the raffle of a pair of running shoes, as well as a photocall where participants will be able to take a personalised Polaroid photo of their time at the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2023. An unforgettable memory that will immortalise the challenge of participating in one of the most magical marathons in the world.

In addition, the stand will be visited by the Olympic athlete Esther Guerrero. The New Balance ambassador will give a motivational talk and tell us about her experience as a professional athlete. The talk will take place on Saturday at 11am at the online shop stand.

The Zurich Marató de Barcelona will be held on 19 March, with around 15,000 runners who will make their hearts beat faster on an urban circuit that will take in some of Barcelona’s most emblematic areas.
