The store has more than 750 m2 and will employ 11 people

The next goal for deporvillage is to open a physical store in Catalonia

Deporvillage, the store specialising in cycling, running and outdoor sports that until last April only sold online, today opens its second physical store in Pulianas, Granada , following the success of its store in Alcorcón (Madrid).

The new centre with more than 750 m2 of space will employ 11 people and will have a Bikefit area, which includes biomechanical studies of the position on the bike for optimal performance and a workshop for bike tuning.

The store also includes an exhibition of more than 100 bicycle references, where sportsmen and women can also find an excellent selection of products and technical brands in the three sports in which deporvillage specialises: cycling, running and trail running + mountain.

Thus, after the opening of its first store in Alcorcón (Madrid), this new opening represents a commitment to Andalusia, the third community in terms of traffic contribution to deporvillage’s e-commerce, and specifically to Granada, an area with a strong sporting tradition, where the best conditions exist for the practice of deporvillage’s key sports: cycling, running and mountaineering.

As Amparo Cuerda, Co-CEO of deporvillage says “with each new opening we hope to continue getting closer to our customers and promoting the experience in terms of the benefits of omnichannel, a strategy that is working really well for us, as shown by the figures that ratify the increase in bicycle sales, for example, in Click and Collect format, online purchase and collection in store, around the location of our first store in Madrid”.

The future of deporvillage is to continue betting on the opening of physical stores to continue exploring formats that allow them to connect the online world with the physical world. In fact, among its plans is a future opening in Catalonia.
