With a team of more than 140 people, it has set up its new work centre in Sant Fruitós de Bages (Barcelona) and has left its headquarters in Manresa.

Europe’s leading sports e-commerce Deporvillage celebrates another milestone in its successful history and relocates to its new, spacious headquarters, a direct consequence of the significant growth in its workforce to over 140 employees.

Located in Sant Fruitós de Bages, just a few minutes from its previous headquarters in Manresa, the company’s new offices consist of a ground floor and an upper floor with a total space of 2,600m².

The main objective of the project was to provide the team with a space for inspiration and interaction between all departments. Consequently, there are numerous open-plan, spacious areas to encourage conversations and meetings in common spaces, combined with more conventional workspaces. In addition, the new headquarters is committed to sustainability, energy and environmental efficiency. It is worth mentioning the installation of solar panels to cover energy needs for a large part of the year.

In the new offices, flexible and dynamic spaces have been created, which enhance the young spirit of the company, reflected in the different areas of sofas, low tables, a canteen and bar seating area. The decor incorporates many elements of greenery, and uses the main brand tones across the different floors. One of the most important spaces in the offices is a showroom where the company’s own brands are well represented, as well as a new photography studio.

This idea reinforces the company’s culture in terms of its work teams which, as in sport, knows that the key to achieve collective success is collaboration and joint effort. Deporvillage is still as committed as ever to attracting and retaining talent and therefore recognises that an attractive workspace is key to this goal.

As stated by the co-founders of Deporvillage, CEO Xavier Pladellorens, and CPO Angel Corcuera “This is a natural step given the growth we have experienced in recent years. The need for more space and the impossibility of finding it in the building where we were previously, has led us to look for a completely new space that will allow us to grow according to our needs and offer greater comfort to the team”.
